U7/8 Boys Soccer Parents,
A reminder that we are splitting the U7 (2011) and U8 (2010) players this Sunday 5/20.
All boys born in 2011 (U7) should meet at the usual Grade School field for a 10:00am game. Players from Bandits/Explosion wear white and Thunder/Bulldogs wear orange.
All boys born in 2010 (U8) should attend the LIJSL Festival from 4:00 – 6:00pm at the Peter C. Collins Soccer Park in Plainview. The address and directions are at the end of this message. All U8 players should report at 3:45pm where they will be divided into teams by our coaches. All players should wear the orange jersey.
We will assume that all U8 (2010) boys will attend the LIJSL festival unless you reply to this message and tell us that they will not be there. Here is the basic information on the soccer festival:
– Free to play – Format is 5v5 (4 plus Goal Keeper) – Teams will be coached by regular Babylon Coaches – Friendly/Exhibition Games – Games against teams from other clubs – Each team will play 3 x 20 minute games – Event is approximately 30 minutes drive from Babylon

The Soccer Park is located at the Old Country Road boundary of the Plainview Business Complex, the address is 1425 Old Country Road <maps.google.com/?q=1425+Old+Country+Road&entry=gmail&source=g>. Take the LIE West. Exit the LIE at Exit 48, Round Swamp Road <maps.google.com/?q=48,+Round+Swamp+Road&entry=gmail&source=g> (south) and continue to intersection of Old Country Road. Bear right onto Old Country Road. Go to 2nd light and turn left into the Plainview Office complex entry road. At top of road there is parking on the right and left.
