Required Training for BSC Coaches

BSC Volunteer Coaches and Assistant Coaches are required to complete 2 training activities prior to the start of the Fall season each year. In addition to the required training, we ask that all coaches register each year for the new season so that we can confirm who is volunteering for which roles. Here are the steps to follow for the Fall 2018/ Spring 2019 season:

  1. Register as a Coach with Babylon Soccer Club:
    1. Visit https://libabylonsc.siplay.com/site/
    2. Click “Register Online”
    3. Sign in with your current account or create a new one if you are new to the club
    4. Select “Apply to Coach/Volunteer” at the bottom of the screen
    5. Select the coaches name or register a new member
    6. Select the Program you’re registering to coach (remember the age groups are here…)
    7. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process. There should be a $0 transaction on the screen to complete registration.
  2. Complete the ENY Risk Management Disclosure:
    1. Visit http://lijslrm.siplay.com/site
    2. Click “Register Online”
    3. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the disclosure statement
    4. NOTE: If you completed the statement recently, you may not have to complete it again this season. LIJSL states that their disclosure statement registration is good from September 2017 – August 2019.
  3. Complete the HEADS UP Online Concussion Training:
    1. Visit https://www.cdc.gov/concussion/HeadsUp/Training/index.html
    2. Click “Launch the HEADS UP Course”
    3. Register or Login as an existing user
    4. Complete the course and send the completion certificate to BSCboard@babylonsoccer.com
